The first week of my stay in Arc Raiders was selling stuff that I actually needed to craft. Yeah, not my proudest moment. I would mince out with pockets full of “junk,” sell all that as fast money after which I would realize that I have traded in the very parts that my Gunsmith augment needed most of all.
And, should you be nodding your head, now, then this instructive is directed to you.
Conceptualizing Arc Raiders Rarity Tiers.
Those colors actually mean the following before you sell another item:
White (Common): Basic materials. You will find them everywhere, batteries, wire, metal pieces. Keep them early on.
Green (Uncommon): Mid-range manufacturing. These are more valuable than you consider to upgrade the workbench.
Blue (Rare): quality and superior equipment. Keep these unless you are desperate enough to use them.
Weapons of great strength and parts created by trade. Don’t you dare sell these.
Gold (Legendary): such items as the Queen Reactor. If you see gold, you keep gold.
I got to know of this when I sold a blue crafting component worth 200 coin and spent three hours on the farm land searching to get another one.
What Really Works: Essential Loot-Types.
The following is what I would have liked someone to tell me on the first day:
Tools of the Trade Craft Design Materials. Electrical, parts, mechanical, fabric, rubber, when it is said to be a component or part, put it away. Workshops of yours operate on it, and you will never have sufficient Advanced Mechanical Components when you really need them.
Cogs such as batteries and sensors have two purposes. You’ll raid them and will you want them to make. I hold at least 20 of them and then I look at selling extras.
Weapon Attachments are found in the high-threat zones. They enhance your fighting power and thus they do not leave in your hands unless you have duplicates.
Trinkets and Valuables– pottery, vases, jewelry are sold as such. These are your safe-sell products. Grandma does not need her vase in the process of making recipes.
The ARC Components of ruined machines fetch good money, though look in the course of crafting on whether you should use them. The cheat sheet provided by Beebom will divide which ARC parts are actually exploited or what are intended to make a profit.
The Smart Selling Strategy
Below is my list of order of preference, weeks after weeks of trial and error:
- Stash First: Premium items (quests), crafting materials, blue, or higher.
- Sell Second: Trinkets, treasures, and replicant weapon modification.
- Scrap Last: Routine things when your inventory busting.
One item is supposedly saved by your safe pocket slot in case you die. In case of a treasure always utilize it in your best discovery, uncommon blueprints or epos appendages. I do not know how often this rescued a legendary item during an unsuccessful extraction.
The Latest Developments You need to know.
The update 1.2.0 November changed the situation. The value of Wolffield value increased by 5,000 coins instead of 3,000 coins and that is much more lucrative. Launcher Ammo was also up more than twice.
However, there is one caveat here, they decreased combat damage XP. It is time to hit all containers with 200-250 XP of loot opposed to fighting anything you see.

Quick FAQs
What happens if I die?
You have got nothing but what you got in your safe pocket. Choose that item wisely.
Should I sell or scrap?
Sell trinkets and valuables. Re-use scrap items that are used as base productions. Sell no Advanced Mechanical nor Electrical Components–you will regret.
Best farming spots?

My Honest Take
Arc Raiders does not describe its loot system well. You are thrown into raids, pull out random stuff and sort out what is important by painfully trial and error. Before I realized the distinction between this sells 500 coins, and this opens up your next tier of workbench, I sold perhaps 50K worth of crafting materials.
Don’t be me. Buy supplies in advance, clear trinkets conscientiously, and never you want to leave owing to that blue item you are about to sell whether or not it is needed or not to go up to the next level. Your self yet unborn would be thankful when you are not wasting hours on the farm getting that one element that you sold you on day three.
